A Peaceful Return to Eden
A more meaningful way to practice veterinary medicine
A Peaceful Return to Eden is a concierge, in-home veterinary service dedicated exclusively to end-of-life care for pets. Our mission is to provide a peaceful, compassionate, and dignified experience for pets and their families in the comfort of home. We welcome veterinarians from anywhere in the United States to join our team, supporting both local service areas and the expansion of in-home care into new regions.
We believe there is no place like home when it is time to say goodbye. By creating a calm and familiar environment, we help reduce stress for pets while supporting families through one of life’s most emotional moments with empathy and care.
A Different Approach to Veterinary Medicine
Our model is intentionally designed to move away from high-volume, clinic-based care. Veterinarians are given the time and space to be fully present, allowing for meaningful connections and a more personalized experience for each family.
A Thoughtfully Designed Practice Model
We prioritize sustainability for our veterinarians by offering:
A dedicated team handles scheduling, client communication, billing, and aftercare coordination, allowing veterinarians to focus entirely on patient care and connection.
Purpose-Driven Work
The work at A Peaceful Return to Eden is centered on compassion, presence, and trust. Our veterinarians are welcomed into homes during deeply personal moments and play an important role in guiding families with clarity and care.
Who We Serve and Support
We serve families seeking a more peaceful end-of-life experience for their pets, and we support veterinarians who are looking for a more meaningful, relationship-centered way to practice, regardless of where they are located in the United States.
Our Philosophy
Veterinary medicine can be practiced with greater intention, presence, and compassion.
At A Peaceful Return to Eden, that belief guides everything we do.

Dr. Lori discovered her passion for emergency medicine and critical care in 1991, then opened her own 24-hour emergency clinic in 1994. After over 30 years in private practice, the loss of her mother in 2019 seeded a new calling.
Dr. Lori’s mission now is to support others as they find themselves at the point of loss and having to say goodbye to their beloved pet. Being able to do so at home, in a loving, supportive, and peaceful environment is a blessing—and she considers it an honor to be able to help.
